We offer ways you can Get Involved. First off, we encourage you to become a Citizen Scientist! We’re also working on a program where you or your Citizen Scientist group can create a KnowYourH2O online account to manage testing data collected through our Water Quality Index Calculator for Surface Water. In addition, you’ll have the option to share your testing data to our Global Surface Water Quality Database that will monitor the water quality of our shared watershed. Finally, we also offer a Homeowner Outreach program to show you how to develop a neighborhood plan and launch a community event presentation.
One of the best ways to Get Involved is to become a Citizen Scientist and join other like-minded individuals who have a passion for protecting our shared watershed. Citizen Scientists, as individuals or groups, volunteer their time to venture out to test the streams, ponds, and lakes in their local region.
With our KnowYourH2O Homeowner Outreach Program we can help you develop a neighborhood plan, launch a community event presentation, and assist with the development of a local KnowYourH2O education program.
